1. The service
Famous Birthdays Today provides a free, publicly accessible archive of birthday information about notable people. The service is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site in a way that degrades service for other visitors;
- attempt to access non-public parts of the service, or bypass rate limits or access controls;
- use the site to harass, defame or endanger any person;
- republish substantial parts of the archive commercially without written permission;
- use automated tools to overload the servers or reverse-engineer the image pipeline.
3. Intellectual property
The site's layout, original text, code and design are owned by Famous Birthdays Today and protected by copyright. Biographical facts themselves are not owned by anyone, but the wording of descriptions and the compilation of the database are.
Portrait images are processed derivative works used for identification and commentary. Rights remain with the original photographers, agencies or estates. Rights holders can request removal under our DMCA and takedown policy.

5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Famous Birthdays Today is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including reliance on any birth date, age or profession shown.
