How to report a correction
Email hello@famousbirthdaystoday.net with the subject "Correction" and include:
- the URL of the page (for example a date page or a person profile);
- the person's name as shown;
- the detail that is wrong and what it should be;
- a link to a source that supports the change.
What we fix
- Incorrect birth dates, birth years and professions.
- Misspelled names and wrong spelling variants.
- People listed on the wrong date page.
- Duplicate entries.
- Descriptions that are outdated, misleading or defamatory.
Timeline
We acknowledge reports within three business days. Verified factual corrections are applied to the dataset and published on the next scheduled build, normally within 24 hours. Sensitive removal requests (safety, harassment, legal) are escalated and actioned as quickly as possible.
Removals
If you are the subject of an entry, or an authorised representative, you can ask for the entry to be corrected, reduced to name and profession only, or removed entirely. We do not require a reason, and the page will be updated or returned as a 404 after the dataset rebuild.
What we cannot verify
We cannot confirm private information, and we do not remove accurate, publicly documented professional facts simply because the subject dislikes them. We will always correct errors.
Appeals
If you disagree with how a report was handled, reply to the same thread with "Appeal" in the subject line and it will be reviewed again.
