What this site does
Famous Birthdays Today answers one question well: who was born on a given date? Every day of the year has its own page listing the actors, musicians, athletes, internet creators, politicians and historical figures in our archive who share that birthday, with their profession, birth year, current age and zodiac sign.
The archive currently covers more than 224,000 people across all 366 calendar days, including 29 February. Each date page is generated from the same structured dataset, so the same person appears consistently everywhere they are referenced.
How the archive is built
Records are compiled from publicly available reference material, including Wikipedia entries, published interviews and community-maintained birthday lists. Each record stores a name, a profession, a birth date, where available a birth year, and a short description.
We do not use artificial engagement metrics. There are no vote counters, "wish" totals, popularity scores or countdown timers on this site. Numbers shown on a page — how many people were born on a date, how many are living, the era breakdown — are calculated directly from the dataset.
Editorial standards
We prefer primary and encyclopedic sources, avoid speculation about living people, and correct errors when they are reported. The full process is described in our editorial policy and our corrections policy.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by famousbirthdays.com, Wikipedia, or any celebrity, agency or publisher mentioned on the site. Names and biographical facts are used for identification and reference purposes.
